Sjö is a collaborative project that combines Manzoni’s piano playing with Zaes’ digital processing and beats within a widely improvisational framework. It is a project with which Manzoni and Zaes were extensively touring worldwide between 2013-2016 and which resulted in rich sonic collages and an ideosyncratic sampling music aesthetic with a strong emphasis on the live situation.
